Este mês fiz algo diferente para os meus favoritos do mês.
Os meus favoritos eram quase todos relacionados com livros. Por momentos achei que era ridículo desenhar todos livros que queria falar e com imensos detalhes, especialmente porque neste últimos dias não me têm apetecido desenhar muito. Eu queria mencionar o tempo mais quente, e que agora estou numa de riscas azuis horizontais. Por isso comecei por me desenhar. Como ainda não acabei um dos livros que estou a ler (e a adorar) não o quis acrescentar. Ainda pensei desenhar algumas ferramentas de desenho visto que tenho algumas novas, mas acho que as vou guardar para outras publicações. (entre papel, diários gráficos, ecolines e mais marcadores tenho muito por onde falar).
Mas este problema todo pôs-se porque não tenho estado atenta e a registar os meus favoritos. As únicas coisas que me lembrava eram a minha colecção de coisas à volta de Tolkien ou então a minha colecção de livros escritos pelo Stephen King. Foi isso que comecei a desenhar. Sim, no desenho estão todos os livros que tenho escritos pelo autor. Dois livros de não-ficção, nove de novelas ou contos, oito são da série Dark Tower, e o resto é ficção. (sendo que alguns deles foram adaptados para o cinema ou televisão).

(devem estar a reparar que o texto em inglês é maior que o português, eu normalmente começo a escrever em inglês e por vezes o que digo em inglês tenho dificuldade em pôr em português. As palavras em português parecem-me sempre mais fortes e com mais sentimento).

This month I did something different for my favourites.
Specially because most of my favourites where book related. For a moment I thought it was ridiculous draw all the books I wanted to mention in full detail, specially because in these last days I haven't been feeling like drawing (fear and stress is making me avoid to draw. Stupid I know, but feelings often are this way). I knew I wanted to mention the warmer weather, and that now I'm on a kick for clothes with navy stripes. So I draw myself. Then I didn't want to draw a book that I'm loving, but haven't finished it yet. I tough I could draw some art supplies that I have been acquiring, but I think I might safe a post or two for those. (I got new paper, a couple of sketchbooks, some liquid watercolour and more copic markers, but most of them I'm still trying, so I will wait to have a better opinion on then before talk about them). Since I hadn't been writing down my favourites the only things I had strong feelings about was either my Tolkien collection of things (that probably will end on a drawing too) or maybe something with my large collection of Stephen King books. So that what I started to draw. Yes, all the books in the drawing were written by Stephen King. Two of them are non-fiction, nine are novellas or short-stories, eight are from the Dark Tower Series, and the rest is various fiction (some of them were adapted for cinema or television series).
Drawing things that I liked helped me to relax. I've been feeling very unproductive in two projects that I'm working on, and have been stressing a lot because of that.
